Robert G. Viere, M.D.Board Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Dr. Robert Viere has performed spinal surgery in the Dallas area for more than 20 years. As a board certified orthopedic surgeon and a member of the North American Spine Society, Dr. Viere understands the challenges patients face when confronting neck and back pain.
Dr. Viere has a special interest in complex problems involving the cervical spine and accepts referrals for postoperative spinal problems. His offices combine pain management, state of the art technology, artificial disc replacement, minimally invasive surgery, and treatment for scoliosis.
Dr. Viere is on staff at the Methodist Hospital for Surgery, Medical City Plano Hospital, and Baylor Uptown, with privileges at Texas Scottish Rite. Prior to joining Baylor, Dr. Viere was head of the spine section in the Department of Orthopedics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has been honored as one of the "Best Doctors in Dallas" from 2004-2020, as well as "Best Doctors in America" from 1994-2011. In addition, Texas Monthly named him a "Texas Super Doctor" for five consecutive years.
