Dr. Heidi Lee is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. She is trained in the diagnosis/treatment of various pain conditions, including spine and non-spine conditions. Comprehensive/multi-modal pain therapy incorporates interventions varying from diagnostic/therapeutic injections (ie; epidural steroid injections, facet blocks/rhizotomies, joint/bursa/peripheral nerve block/injections) to invasive procedures (spinal cord stimulator, peripheral nerve stimulator, Intercept procedure, kyphoplasty), in addition to multi-modal approach to medication management.

Dr. Lee has lived in various regions including Orange County CA, Boston MA, and NYC before settling down in TX with her family consisting of her spouse, twin daughters, and a family dog. Dr. Lee graduated from Wellesley College and had briefly pursued a finance career as an equity research analyst/manager before her switch to the medical field.

Dr. Lee completed medical school at SUNY Downstate, followed by residency and fellowship training at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Lee was the recipient of the 2018 NYU Anesthesiology Department Team Captain Award, voted by co-residents of the program for setting an exemplary leadership role in the capacity of anesthesia attending simulated role during calls that involved emergent/trauma cases at Bellevue Hospital Center. In addition, she was the recipient of the 2016 NYU Pain Medicine Resident of the Year award, voted by fellows/attendings for her approach to patient care, hard work, and technical skills.
